O God‚ o lewende God‚
U het die ewigheid in ons hart gelê;
U het ons honger en dors gemaak
vir U alleen.
Vervul dan self die instinktiewe verlange na U
wat U self in ons harte geplaas het —
sodat ons in die lewe vir U sal vind‚
en die lewe in U.
Ons vra dit in die Naam van Hom wat dit
vir ons moontlik maak:
